ABOUT BLUE RIDGE RELEASED TIME

The Blue Ridge Released Time Christian Education Program has been educating the public school students of Blue Ridge Middle for over 14 years.  Our high school program was implemented in 2008, shortly after School Ministries, Inc. accomplished a major legislative landmark in the passing of South Carolina’s Released Time Credit Act into law.  This enabled high school students to be awarded elective credit for attending Released Time courses.  We are sponsored by the Greer Christian Learning Center, who for 20 years have ministered successfully to students from Greer Middle and High School and continue to provide exemplary Christian Education. We are a non- profit Christian interdenominational program, teaching biblical principles during school time in off campus locations.  In full compliance with the South Carolina State Law, fellowship time and instruction are given at a satellite location, such as a supporting church.  We are so excited to announce that our new learning facility, located on Tyger Bridge Road across from the Middle School, will be completed during the 2016-2017 school year.  This facility will house our Middle and High School classes.  In partnership with parents, churches, communities, and the support of Greer Christian Learning Center, we are blessed with the ability to provide a loving environment where the Gospel is shared, great opportunities arise, and lives are changed forever!  We strive to encourage students, build up families, and raise up communities through the love of Christ.

In cooperation with schools and in partnership with parents and churches, the Greer Christian Learning Center will provide public school students the opportunity to embrace the Gospel, to grow in Christian maturity and to apply Biblical principles to their lives, families and communities.
